My name is Robert Lindsley. My wife, Nancy, and I are real estate investors. Our company is Opal Capital, named after her birthstone.
We focus on multifamily properties in the New London, CT and Central Florida areas. Our method: find off-market properties that positively cashflow, buy below market value, and create substantial additional value upon purchase.
Before multifamily, my background was in video game production — starting in 1988 as a producer on the acclaimed King's Quest series, then going on to work on Xbox, Rock Band, Ghostbusters: The Video Game, and many others. Nearly 30 years managing technology budgets up to $100M taught me rigorous execution — a discipline we bring to every property.
Our partners bring years of experience acquiring, funding, repositioning, and managing diverse real estate assets — representing a combined portfolio of over 2,400 apartment units valued at $175M, and 366 private lender loans totaling $45.1M.
Manages over $34M in private money deployed into real estate. Has been involved in 1,000+ wholesale, rehab, rental, foreclosure, and apartment transactions, and currently holds a portfolio of over 2,400 cash-flowing apartments.
Manages investor relations and drives private equity investments. Previously held leadership roles at major Fortune 500 telecommunications companies while building a strong real estate portfolio generating nearly $1M in profits.
Responsible for scaling Freeland's small business lending. Brings 9 years of sales experience plus 3+ years running his own RE investment company focused on safe, affordable housing across Cleveland neighborhoods.
